The new 12x40 units at Vista Storage in Walker, MI are 480 square feet of enclosed drive-up storage with a taller door sized for boats on trailers, travel trailers, and smaller RVs. Your rig sits inside a locked unit, out of the sun, snow, and ice, behind a secure 24/7 keypad gate. We are minutes from US-131 and I-96, an easy pull for owners across Walker, Grand Rapids, Standale, and Comstock Park.

Standard 12x40
A fully enclosed 12x40 drive-up unit with a taller door and motion sensor lighting. Back your boat or trailer in, lock the door, and it stays dry until you need it. Listed at $379 per month.
12x40 with Power
Everything in the standard unit, plus in-unit power. Keep a trickle charger or battery tender on your boat or small RV through the off season, so the battery is topped off and ready to go on the first warm weekend. Listed at $399 per month.

Why Enclosed Beats Outdoor Parking
We do not rent outdoor parking, and that is on purpose. An outdoor spot leaves your boat or RV under UV, snow load, and ice all winter, usually under a tarp that has to be strapped down and replaced. Inside a 12x40, there is no sun fade, no shrink wrap bill, no snow to dig out, and nobody walking past your rig. Add the power option and you skip the dead battery in May, too.

Do the units have power?
Select units do. The 12x40 with Power includes in-unit power for a trickle charger or battery tender, ideal for keeping a boat or small RV battery charged through winter. Standard units without power are listed at a lower rate.
Is there outdoor parking?
No. Vista Storage is fully enclosed self storage. Every 12x40 is an enclosed drive-up unit, which is better protection for your boat or RV than any outdoor spot.
Are the units climate controlled?
No. These are non climate controlled drive-up units. They are enclosed, dry, and lit with motion sensor lighting, which is what trailered boats and RVs actually need.
What if my boat or trailer is smaller?
