What are your access hours?
Vista Storage offers 24/7 access to your unit, 365 days a year. Our facility uses a PDK keypad gate system, so you can enter anytime with your personal access code. The property is fully lit and monitored around the clock.
What security features does Vista Storage have?
Our Walker, MI facility includes 24/7 video surveillance, a PDK electronic gate access system with individual access codes, LED lighting throughout the property, and secure unit doors. Every entry and exit is logged, so you always know your belongings are protected.
Can I change my unit size after I move in?
Yes. If your storage needs change, you can transfer to a different unit size based on availability. Contact us and we will handle the switch. There is no fee to change units, and your lease stays month to month.

Yes. Vista Storage offers enclosed storage for vehicles, RVs, boats, and trailers. We are currently building new 12x40 enclosed units specifically designed for larger vehicles, featuring trickle chargers and lights with sensors. All storage at Vista is fully enclosed, not outdoor. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payments can be made online through our tenant portal or by phone. Autopay is available for convenience.
What can I store in a self storage unit?
Most household and business items are fine: furniture, clothing, electronics, files, seasonal decorations, sporting equipment, tools, and inventory. Items that cannot be stored include hazardous materials, perishable goods, and anything illegal. Contact us if you have questions about a specific item.
Do you offer climate controlled storage?
Vista Storage units are not climate controlled. However, all units are enclosed, dry, and well maintained. For most household items, furniture, and seasonal gear, standard storage is more than adequate for the West Michigan climate.
Do I need insurance for my stored items?
We recommend having some form of protection for your belongings. Many homeowners and renters insurance policies cover items in storage. Check with your insurance provider. We also offer tenant protection plans at the facility.
How do I get into my unit for the first time?
After reserving your unit, you will receive a personal gate access code. Drive up to the PDK keypad at the entrance, enter your code, and the gate opens. Your unit will be unlocked and ready for you. Bring your own lock to secure the unit after your first visit.
